Europe 2011

Hi all--
Jim and I just completed a 10 day trip to Europe to celebrate our 40th anniversary which is August 14.  Since it is spring break here, we decided to take advantage of the time and do our vacation for our anniversary now.

We had a wonderful time.  It was good to enjoy the green grass, flowers, not having to filter our water and having electricity all of the time.  We enjoyed some beautiful scenery; castles, etc. Also we toured Dachau Concentration Camp, which was really sad and painful.  The day we visited it was raining which seemed very fitting to the mood of the history of the camp.

In Salzburg, Austria, I went on the Sound of Music tour which was really fun since it is my favorite movie.  Jim explored the old town of Salzburg while I went on the tour.  Then we ate lunch at Stiftskeller St. Peter's, the oldest restaurant in Central Europe, dating from 803 A.D.

Attached are a few of the pictures that we took on our trip.

Love,
Aunt Ramona
